YMCA 1st Annual Cycle Ride (funds support youth scholarships to the Michaiana YMCA)
When:Sunday October 12, 2008; Registration @ 1 PM
Where: All rides start and end at the Main St. Pub. 2406 South Bend Ave.
Rides: 15/30mile start 2 pm; 7.5 mile at 3 pm; 3 mile fun ride at 3:15
Registration Fees: $20 for adult; $35 per family (up to 4); $4 for “Silver Sneaker” entry (?)

Ready for winter?

I’m thinking about winter. Really thinking about winter. Soon, our environment will seem stripped down, cold, and practically lifeless. However, we all know that there is much more going during winter than appears. Some of us will participate in winter life by wrapping up and biking on through the cold days and nights, meeting winter as a challenge to move through, not sleep through.
