My son’s employer has a program to encourage employees and students to be bike commuters. The employer is Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) in Portland Oregon.

The last piece of the loop that’s the downtown Mishawaka Riverwalk has opened. The Riverwalk has been 18 years in the making, as Mayor Jeff Rea remembers working on the first grant while he was a city staffer in 1991.

Decoys Being Used to Catch Bike Thieves in Elkhart

Today’s South Bend Tribune has an article about Elkhart police utilizing decoy bicycles under surveillance to catch bicycle thieves. If I recall, this is something Adam has advocated in the past. Seems like a smart approach to me!
